A Fun Demo with Serious Potential
This Halloween, I developed an interactive application that uses real-time data from the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket). This tool visualizes critical road events and potential navigation hazards across the entire country.
While this Halloween app is a bit spooky, the underlying technology has a practical application. The data and routing logic can be adapted to support emergency services, helping ambulances, fire trucks, and other blue-light vehicles optimize their navigation by automatically avoiding obstacles like height limits, road closures, and other restrictions.
